GLASS (2019)

GlassFollowing the conclusion of Split, Glass finds David Dunn pursuing Kevin Wendell Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Elijah Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

Very disappointing. It’s as if M Night Shyamalan has tried too hard to be clever. The characters keep on telling us what is happening. There’s very little subtlety in the script writing. At times, the acting was stilted and, while there are big name actors in the movie, they don’t have a lot to work with. There’s a lot going on but most of it is pretty uninteresting. Bad ending to what could have been a good trilogy.
