Boss Level (2021)

Roy Pulver (Frank Grillo – Captain America: Civil War), a retired special forces officer is trapped in a never-ending time loop on the day of his death.

BOSS LEVEL is another entry in the recent proliferation of time loop movies in the last few years (eg, Happy Death, Long Story Short). This one is mostly an excuse for action and little else. It’s an ok movie and reasonably entertaining. The action is very fast-paced and extreme. Sometimes it’s quite laughable (read, juvenile). Grillo is the only one that really does much hard work – it’s really his show. If this is all you want, then you will probably find it enjoyable. At least it doesn’t pretend to be what it isn’t.
