CATCH-UP RATINGS
Every so often, I get a bit behind in reviewing movies I’ve seen. BEN IS BACK (2018) – A drug-addicted teenage boy shows up unexpectedly at his family’s home on Christmas Eve. **½
THE FRONT RUNNER (2018) -American Senator Gary Hart’s presidential campaign in 1988 is derailed when he’s caught in a scandalous love affair. ***½
COLD PURSUIT (2019) – A snowplough driver seeks revenge against the drug dealers he thinks killed his son. Based on the 2014 Norwegian film ‘In Order of Disappearance’. ***
CAPERNAUM (2018) – While serving a five-year sentence for a violent crime, a 12-year-old boy sues his parents for neglect. ****
ESCAPE ROOM (2019) – Six strangers find themselves in a maze of deadly mystery rooms, and must use their wits to survive. ***
