GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS (2019)

All action with an incoherent story riddled with plot holes. The monster fights are occasionally exciting. But it doesn’t compensate for an incomprehensible, confusing, superficial, clichéd, humourless plot. It’s hard to understand why the high-quality cast would think to put their names to this. If all you want is monsters fighting and screaming, go for it. Otherwise, give it a miss.
