HALLOWEEN (2018)

Disappointing as far as suspense goes. Jamie Lee Curtis does a good job of reprising her role as Laurie Strode and is probably the best reason to see this movie. The story is predictable, and there is little real tension as the killing is all standard fare. It’s a pretty average slasher movie with a bit of interesting imagery here and there but no “atmosphere”. Fans of the Halloween franchise will probably go for this one but, for the rest of us, it’s not all that interesting.
