Very slow. There are some important issues in this story but it is very sanitised. There is some ok acting but nothing really outstanding and the tone is the same all the way through. There is no plot momentum and it feels like something is always about to happen but never really does. The director has focused so much on individual moments it’s like he’s forgotten he’s got an audience he needs to communicate with. Probably the best part of the movie is a sequence where two families come together and clash in what are the most emotionally engaging moments of the whole story. So it’s a challenge to watch just because it is hard to remain focused and interested in the little that is happening.
