Jurassic World Dominion (2022)

Four years after Isla Nublar was destroyed, dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.

The movie is driven by action and visual effects, with little care given to things like character development or a well-written plot. The pace is fast, and the movie is exciting, but it’s forgettable. The dialogue is often cheesy, and the acting is just okay with Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Chris Pratt phoning it in. There are a few themes that pop up such as the dangers of messing with nature, but they are quickly abandoned in favour of more action.

Jurassic World Dominion is a movie that is best enjoyed as a mindless popcorn flick. It’s not going to win any awards, but it’s entertaining enough. If you’re a fan of the franchise, you’ll enjoy it. If you’re not, this movie isn’t going to change your mind.
