If you liked the movie Spotlight you will like LABYRINTH OF LIES. It’s brilliant and moving. The acting is excellent and the story is compelling. Based in fact, there is some fictionalised elements which do not overshadow the central historical issues. Characters are developed well and the exquisite soundtrack complements the story. The directing is good even though the movie is, perhaps, a touch too long. Like Spotlight, the script is dialogue driven but riveting and suspenseful. An intelligent and striking film.
