Despite the almost universal disdain of critics, I actually quite enjoyed this action adventure crime movie starring Mark Wahlberg (Deep Water Horizon), Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead), and Iko Uwais (The Raid). The movie moves between intense action sequences (with lots of violence) and fast-paced dialogue (which takes lots of concentration to follow. It only goes for 1 hr 34 mins which is long enough because it’s pretty exhausting to watch. The Indonesian actor and martial artist, Iko Uwais, is the best character and puts in a stunning performance. If you like frenetic action, some great fight choreography, with lots of twists and turns, it’s for you.
