NIGHT SCHOOL (2018)

Night SchoolTeddy Walker (Kevin Hart) is a successful salesman whose life takes an unexpected turn when he accidentally blows up his place of employment. Forced to attend night school to get his GED, Teddy soon finds himself dealing with a group of misfit students, his former high school nemesis and a feisty teacher who doesn’t think he’s too bright.
Well… it is a bit of fun and if you haven’t been desensitised by seeing Kevin Hart doing his stuff in most of what he’s in, then it’s pleasant entertainment. The comedy is all over the place but I didn’t mind it. I had quite a few laughs. And it is a change to have some comedy that doesn’t find its laughs in the gutter. The message about accepting your situation and making the best of it is a good one. Probably one you could wait for when it’s released on streaming services or DVD.
