One of the most disappointing movies this year. The trailers looked good and the cast is top-notch: Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Ann Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Rihanna. This should have been fast-paced, fun, dripping with woman power. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. It was monotonous, bland, boring. Lifeless. The acting looked as though no-one was trying — except Hathaway and Bonham Carter who were the best of the bunch. An opportunity lost. Blame has to go to the script-writer(s) and director who seem to have just gone through the motions.
