PEPPERMINT (2018)

PeppermintFive years after her husband and daughter are killed in a senseless act of violence, a woman comes back from self-imposed exile to seek revenge against those responsible and the system that let them go free.

A clichéd vigilante movie that is somewhat entertaining as long as you don’t expect too much. Jennifer Garner pretty much reprises her previous roles in the TV series, ALIAS, and Elekta in the movie of the same name with some energetic martial arts and lots of shooting. Completely unbelievable, of course, with a story that completely lacks any subtlety or depth. If you want some mindless entertainment and another opportunity to see Jennifer Garner playing the part of a strong woman then check it out.
