Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

With Spider-Man’s identity now revealed, Peter (Tom Holland) asks Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for help. When a spell goes wrong, dangerous foes from other worlds start to appear, forcing Peter to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME is a good addition to the current series in the franchise. The way it brings in elements from previous episodes is great and the multiverse premise is satisfying. Most of the story, of course, is what we’ve come to expect from Spider-Man movies — the fight between good and evil. The pace is spritely and there’s enough humour to go along with all the action. Despite all the action, the script keeps Peter Parker’s emotions and relationships in the foreground, giving the story some real heart. If you’re a Spider-Man fan, don’t miss it on the big screen. And make sure you stay for an extra scene during the credits, and another promotional clip for an upcoming movie, before you leave the cinema. Once they’re over there’s nothing more to wait around for.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.
