This movie had so much going for it. A good cast. A good premise. A good setting. And good themes. But it didn’t get past first gear. It was slow, boring, emotionally bland and plodded along with one tone all the way through. The material is so thin that around two hours long it seemed like it was never going to end. And when the end does come, it is handled with the same emotional blandness as the rest of the movie. What a shame.
