The Ice Road (2021)

After a remote diamond mine collapses in far northern Canada, an ice road driver (Liam Neeson) must lead an impossible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the trapped miners.

Liam Neeson doing a tired version of himself in a story that’s predictable, clichéd, and low on the entertainment scale.
The most interesting character is played by the Native American, Amber Midthunder (The Marksman – another and better Liam Neeson movie). Unfortunately, we don’t really get much development of her character. There’s actually little development of anyone’s character.
The story of ICE ROAD is superficial and bland with even the action, when it occurs, underwhelming. Give it a miss.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.
