Top Gun: Maverick (2022)

Top Gun: Maverick is not a great movie, but it is entertaining. It is a sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun and stars Tom Cruise as Maverick, a hotshot fighter pilot who is struggling to come to terms with his past. He is ordered to train a new class of Top Gun pilots to run an impossible mission while dealing with the ghosts of his past.

There is nothing truly original about Top Gun: Maverick. It is a standard Hollywood action movie with predictable plot twists. What is outstanding is the aerial footage and the dogfight scenes. They are amazing! Real pilots performed the stunts, and it shows.

Like most Tom Cruise movies, the movie is all about Tom Cruise. He is the star, the producer, and the driving force behind the movie. And he delivers a solid performance. He may be getting older, but he can still play a convincing action hero.

If you are looking for a deep and meaningful movie experience, you will be disappointed. But if you want to see some awesome flying and some good old-fashioned action, then you will enjoy Top Gun: Maverick. Make sure you see it on a big screen!
