Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)

In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages.

This is going to be a shorter review than normal. Why? Because if you’ve seen a Godzilla or Kong movie you know what you’re going to get. The story is weak but the action is spectacular. And that’s all that is required to make this an entertaining thrill ride. The fight scenes between the two monsters are superbly choreographed and thrilling. You could easily remove the humans and the narrative without any loss of enjoyment. In fact, doing that may have made for a better movie. Go on … head to the big screen at your nearest cinema and go for the ride!
